2004 Horse Camp

The schedule is for the 2004 HPIEC horse camps. The classes will run Monday thru Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The cost of the weekly camp(s) is $300 per student. Any student(s) who either have attended a previous camp, or are taking consecutive weeks will be placed according to their riding ability, and the instruction previously provided. The class size is limited to eight students for each week. PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY, classes are filling quickly.

Horse Care
You will learn what is required to care for a horse from feeding to grooming. We will also discuss disease and general veterinary knowledge for daily management and first aid.

Stable Management
Learn how to care for a horse and manage a barn with safety as top concern.

Riding Lessons
Horsemanship
Showmanship
Learn to ride with control and understanding
Learn to ride with a balanced seat in harmony with the horse
Introduction to Jumping
Show and arena strategies
