Use the Inn as a point of reference for any trips to the Northumberland area. During the summer months, every Saturday is the farmers market in Cobourg, as well as several surrounding towns.

Cobourg was founded in 1798, and restored buildings like the Victoria Hall and Dressler House bring back memories of old, as well as other beautiful 19th century style homes. For those of us who are always looking for Old Treasures the Cobourg, Port Hope and surrounding area is renowned for its antique shops and auctions, where a person could just be the one to find an Old Treasure.

Enjoy the natural trails that lead around the property and local for your hiking, biking, riding, and cross country skiing enjoyment; or if you just enjoy sitting and listening to the wind and the birds, then High Pointe Inn is the perfect place for you. High Pointe is home to a variety of song and game birds. Wild life is always present on walks through out the property. Bring your camera or paints and spend the day exploring.

In the summer enjoy our private tennis court which is always available for our guests. Take advantage of the many golf courses within a 10 - 20 minute drive from the Inn. Enjoy a pickup game of basketball, or just enjoy the quiet time remembering when we could run up and down the courts all day and not be tired. For those who enjoy two wheeled entertainment, the trails and roads offer more than ample opportunity to work up a good appetite.

In the winter, bring your warm clothes and cross country ski's. The trails lead to the Northumberland Forest with it's 5,000 acres of manicured trails. We'll even pack a light lunch and warm drink.
